Now accepting submissions for Volume 38 (2027)

Research in Nondestructive Evaluation is now accepting submissions for Volume 38, the first volume of the journal's relaunch as a Diamond Open Access journal published by ASNT.

Starting in 2027, every RNDE article will be free to read and share under a CC BY 4.0 license, and authors pay no submission or publication fees. Authors keep copyright of their work.

RNDE welcomes:

  • Research articles: original research with complete methodology, results, and discussion
  • Review articles: comprehensive reviews of a defined topic area (please contact the Managing Editor first to confirm fit)
  • Technical notes: short communications presenting a focused result or method

Please read the Author Guidelines and use the RNDE submission template, then choose Make a Submission to begin.
