RNDE is a Diamond Open Access journal published by The American Society for Nondestructive Testing (online ISSN 1432-2110). All content is freely available under a CC BY 4.0 license, with no embargo, so it can be added to library catalogs, discovery services, and link resolvers without a subscription.

Article metadata is available through the journal's OAI-PMH interface, and every article receives a Crossref DOI. RNDE has published since 1989; content from earlier years was published by Taylor & Francis.
